Who We Are
Incarnation Anglican is a church in Canton, Georgia—a growing and welcoming family learning to follow Jesus together. We gather each week to worship God, hear His Word, and be formed as disciples who live out the Gospel in everyday life.
Our worship is rooted in Scripture, centered on the good news of Jesus Christ, and shaped by the historic Book of Common Prayer. You can expect a service that is reverent, participatory, and grounded in the life of the Church.
We are a mission of the Reformed Episcopal Church within the Anglican Church in North America, and a daughter church of Christ the King Anglican in Marietta.

Our Vision is to plant a church where God is reverently worshipped, people are deeply known, and the historic Faith is confidently lived out in its fullness.

Why Plant a Church in Canton?
The Canton area has an amazing history of vibrant Christian life and packed churches. As with much of the country, however, that image is slipping into the past, with a major spike in the local unchurched and under-churched population. Cherokee County has now fallen below the state average in church participation, and less than half of local residents have a church to call home.
How the Plant Started
In response, we planted Incarnation Anglican Church with the conviction that the most effective way to reach the lost is through new church planting. Christ the King Anglican in Marietta was our sending church.

Meet Fr. Spencer Amaral
The Rev. Fr. Spencer Amaral is a priest in the Southeast Diocese of the Reformed Episcopal Church. He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, where he received a Masters of Theology with emphases in Apologetics and Philosophy. Spencer grew up in Atwater, California, where he was home-schooled, played a variety of sports and musical instruments, became an Eagle Scout, and competed in high school speech and debate. After marrying Bailey, his college sweetheart in July of 2015, the Amarals moved to Dallas in 2016 for Spencer to complete seminary at DTS.
Spencer and Bailey now have three sons: Joey (5), Peter (3), and Danny (1), and also have an energetic shepherd-lab mix named Scout. In his spare time, Spencer enjoys playing piano, sports, history, classic films, grilling meat, and wrestling with his boys.
